SWEEPING, unobstructed views of the Indian Ocean, the 18-hole Amanzimtoti golfcourse and the meandering Mbokodweni River are strong selling points of a new 20-apartment-plus-two-penthouse suite development, The Executive, planned for Athlone Park, Amanzimtoti.

The development was launched to agents and potential buyers on September 14 at a function arranged to show the property, highlight the views it offers, and introduce plans and details for the stylish six-level building, to be known as The Executive. Building is expected to start in February and wrap in December 2018.

The development is being marketed by the Dormehl and Phalane Property Group’s Glenwood branch, headed by Rajespree Naidoo. Sales are being handled by branch manager Gordon Swensson and branch administrative manager Ruan van Dyk.

Four floors of the handsome apartment block will contain five units, each with three bedrooms, each en suite. The Executive's top floor will feature two penthouses, each offering four en suite bedrooms. A basement level will offer parking bays for each unit.

The high-end complex, a 10-minute drive from the Galleria shopping mall, will include an infinity pool, a large landscaped garden with entertainment area, a gym available to all residents and a serviced lift. The complex will be wheelchair friendly.

Each apartment will feature tiled floors throughout, open-plan access and high-end finishes.

The two penthouse suites will have an open-plan living space with a sea-facing master bedroom and walk-in wardrobes. Each penthouse will feature a large open-plan kitchen, a gas fireplace, bar area and media room. Each will occupy 286 square-metres, with an additional 105 square-metres of covered balcony.

The 20 other apartments, also featuring gas fireplace, large open-plan kitchen and walk-in wardrobes, will be 155 square-metres with 37 square-metres of covered balcony. The two end units on the first floor will include a 38 square-metre rear terrace leading from the second and third bedrooms.
